| Every time we update this site the amount of rock available to climb seems to have grown by another order of magnitude. TMG staff pioneer new routes for beginners and experts alike. The Telluride region now has excellent rock climbing available year-round from high altitude conglomerate and granitic routes for the heat of the summer to sun baked sandstone available even in the depths of winter. Rock climbing in Telluride and surroundings was once the purview of a small band of demented “hardmen”. Now we have rock of every type, angle, length and difficulty to satisfy the needs of climbers of all abilities and inclinations. | |
